Welcome to FPC Weaverville!
As you begin to look through our website and the various ministries that we offer, our hope is that you will see that we are a congregation that believes in knowing & in serving Christ, and in loving others.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY MORNINGS
As you enter through either of our front door entrances, you will be welcomed by a host of FPC greeters who will assist you and make you feel at home. You will experience laughter in the hallways and joy in the Sanctuary.
Once inside, you will find tables with information in the narthex as well as our facilities. On your way to Sunday school activities at 9:45am, stop by the Fellowship Hall for a cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate before moving on to one of the following:
The Nursery, located on the bottom floor of the Main Church Office Building.
The Youth Sunday School Classes, located on the lower level of the Educational Building.
To find a classroom that is right for your youth, visit our Youth Sunday School page. The Adult Sunday School Classes, located in the Educational Building and the Main Church Office. To find a classroom that is right for you, visit our Adult Sunday School page.

Our Sunday Morning prelude begins at 10:55am and is a time of meditation where you can read through our morning scripture passages or simply enjoy a few moments to be still, focus and pray.
Our 11am Worship Service is considered to be a "blended" style of worship. Though the majority of our congregation hymns are traditional, our choirs provide both traditional and more contemporary music. For more information on our Music Ministry, click here.
Many visitors are concerned about what kind of attire is appropriate. In our Sanctuary you will find a range of dress from jeans to business casual, to coats and ties. Though we are called to give our best to God, your presence is more important than the clothes you wear.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Becoming a member of FPC is the first step towards becoming an active and vibrant part of our fellowship. We believe membership is important because Christ loves the church and wants us to become a integral part of it. The New Testament emphasizes the need for Christians to be accountable to each other for spiritual growth. We do not want membership to be an intimidating process - so we offer a New Member Class that meets once every quarter. This class is taught by Pastor Skip Gillikin. In this class you will learn what we believe and why we believe it. The next
New Member Class will be (date to be announced) in the Church Office Conference Room.
